Fall 2008 Wraps Up

The fall semester is coming to an end. We will wrap up Cafe’ Faith for this semester on Monday, November 17. We hope that it has been a good semester for each of you, and we look forward to seeing you for the Spring semester. We plan to start back up on Monday, January 12. Have a great winter break, and good luck on you final exams. We will be praying for you as you begin exams, and will pray for a safe and happy holiday season. We look forward to seeing you in January.

The Cafe’ September 29

September 29th

It was refreshing to see Will back to join our group. He was in town after taking a test earlier in the day in Jackson. He had the better part of the day off and decided to come see Rebecca and then come visit us. He brought us up to speed on his latest progress at University Medical Center in Jackson. We wish Will well in his studies. We were also joined by Eric for his first night there. Brother Blaine continued our in-depth look into the beginning of recorded time as disclosed in Genesis when compared to scientific theory and facts in an effort to try to explain and understand how God’s World, as we know it, began.

We will not meet next Monday night due to the Fall Break but will resume on Monday night, October 14th. We would welcome your presence and would be blessed by it.

Cafe’Faith ‘08/’09

Each Monday evening at 8 p.m. we will be looking at Genesis (the beginning) with a fascinating DVD that helps us examine the creation and how a study of God’s Word is enlightening while difficult to understand and comprehend. When we last met we looked a little deeper at Genesis 1:1-4. Plan to join us this Monday, September 8 as we continue our study.

Guitar pickers, UNITE!

If you play the guitar there are several of us who are meeting about 7:30 to jam. If you have a clue what to do with 4, 6, or 12 strings, we would welcome your presence. Then, 8:00-ish we’ll disintegrate and miraculous re-form in the Cafe Faith HQ for some in-depth Romans Bible study. See you tonight! Charlie & friends
